(August 9, 2010) Steve was recently notified he will be inducted into the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame during next year’s induction ceremony on March 27, 2011 in Suffolk, NY.  “It’s an honor for me to be recognized by the Jewish community for what my team and I accomplished this past February, as well as for my entire athletic career,” Steve said. “I can not wait to have my family there with me and know how proud my grandparents would have been.”
